Privacy Policy

Tripli (“we”, “us”) is an AI trip-planning web app at tripli.travel. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the third parties involved. We aim to collect only what we need to plan and save your trips.

What we collect

• Account & sign-in: when you sign in, your email and authentication details, handled by our auth provider (Supabase). Signing in with Google shares your basic Google account email with us via that provider.
• Trips you create: the trips you build — destinations, days, places, dates, and any notes — saved to your account so you can return to them.
• Usage & technical data: basic device/browser information and in-app interactions, used to keep the app reliable and improve it.
• On-device storage: local/session storage on your device for preferences, sign-in state, and cached map/photo data so the app loads faster.

How we use your data

• To provide, generate, and save your trip plans.
• To show maps and place information.
• To keep the service secure, reliable, and improve it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Third parties we use

To run the app, we share the minimum necessary data with these providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — sign-in (authentication) and database storage for your account and trips.
• Google Maps / Places — maps, place details, and photos shown in the app.
• Anthropic — the AI that generates trip plans; your trip request text is sent to produce the itinerary.
• Travel / hotel affiliate partners — hotel information, prices, and booking links.

Hotels & bookings

Hotel information and prices are provided by third-party travel partners. When you choose to book, you are taken to the partner’s own website to complete and pay for the booking. Tripli does not process payments and is not a party to your booking — that transaction is governed by the partner’s terms and privacy policy.

Cookies & local storage

We use local/session storage and minimal cookies for sign-in and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and trips while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us — we’ll act on your request as required by applicable law (including GDPR where it applies).

Children

Tripli is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
